Over the decades, we have seen our electronics evolve from a computer the size of a refrigerator, to the tiniest models which will stand on the head of a pin.  Smaller, faster, better as they say.  Telephone systems are just one of those mission critical, electronic devices but the life blood of most businesses.  What can you do in your business without a telephone system?

As we continue to move further and further into the electronics world, we must understand and respect the basics of our machines.  The three basics are Software, Hardware, and Power.  It’s the third that gets the least attention and is most misunderstood.  The hardware and software can only perform to the quality and reliability of the power.  As electronics become faster and smaller, they are more susceptible to even the smallest amounts of stray voltage.  Have you ever turned on a small heater under your desk and had the lights dim a bit?  Or maybe you have a radio on your desk that causes a hum on the phone when it’s turned on?  These are power struggles.  Power quality problems are a $164 billion dollar problem across the US.
